It’s not everyday you see a Ferrari F40 roaming the streets. You’ll almost definitely never see one wrapped in 3M’s carbon fiber vinyl though! One owner has done just that, love it or hate it, we think it looks pretty stealthy:
The blacked out headlights, taillights and wheels really help complete the look for this car.
Here’s the F40 playing with some friends, the contrast looks great!

Interesting, carbon fiber look on carbon fiber. Hmmm ( looks pretty good though )
could this be clearcoated? it looks awesome, maybe clearcoated it would look better? would clear coat work with the adhesive the film has?
please help, i’m building also a nice car..
thanks\joe
@Joe – Please read this page: http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/blog/experimenting-by-clear-coating-di-noc/ You should also read through the FAQ.
How much would this cost to do to an F40
You’d be looking at probably $1,500 worth of material without knowing all the measurements.
….and then triple it because it’s a Ferrari! haha
