Ferrari F40 Blacked Out With 3M Carbon Fiber DI-NOC Vinyl

It’s not everyday you see a Ferrari F40 roaming the streets.  You’ll almost definitely never see one wrapped in 3M’s carbon fiber vinyl though!  One owner has done just that, love it or hate it, we think it looks pretty stealthy:\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe blacked out headlights, taillights and wheels really help complete the look for this car.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHere’s the F40 playing with some friends, the contrast looks great!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n[Source: Mike Boldt Photography via JONSIBAL]

@Joe – Please read this page: http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/blog/experimenting-by-clear-coating-di-noc/ You should also read through the FAQ.

  • How much would this cost to do to an F40

  • You’d be looking at probably $1,500 worth of material without knowing all the measurements.

  • ….and then triple it because it’s a Ferrari! haha

  • That is one mean looking F40. Looks pretty nice. I bet the vinyl protects the paint too.

ONE hella ugly and ruined F40

WTF, the F40 is already carbon fiber under the paint. Why the hell would you want to put a fake carbon wrap on it?? That is an insult to a Ferrari, specially a F40. You people and your stupidity of wrapping things without purpose….

Here’s one way to look at this, the man is obviously board with the collection of cars that he has. Why not change it up!!! Good for you, go where ever your imagination takes you.

Nothing like covering a $40k carbon fiber nose with a $40 sticker.
